A must have...

There is just one very important thing your pooch will have to bring a long with them, and that is an Up to date vaccination certificate. Each year from your dogs first puppy vaccinations they will require a yearly booster to keep them safe from nasty viruses. Kennel Cough necessary and is a legal requirement, we highly recommend you get this done as well as regular flea and worm treatments. (ask your vet for more advice and information)

We do accept Pet Passports, but they must show a proof of an up to date vaccination and not just the Rabies Vaccine as this does not cover dogs to stay in boarding kennels in the UK under the Boarding kennels licensing law.

Our insurance policies cover us for all aspects of responsible care of maintaining a boarding kennels. We are fully licensed and credited and have many happy regular customers who come back to us year after year.

Walkies!

Every dog loves a walk, and we love walking them ! Here at Pond Farm kennels we are lucky enough to have our own paddocks, but we love nothing more than anything, getting the dogs out into the surrounding woodland and exploring all the sites, sounds and smells.

We only walk 1 dog per handler and we all ways keep the dogs on a lead, and if your dog doesn’t like other dogs much they can go out on there own, safety is paramount.

Pamper Time

If your dog requires regular grooming or just needs a nice wash and manicure, we have an off site groomer who will pamper your pooch so they look their best for when you come to collect them.

Prices vary so please ask a member of staff for more details.

For the duration...

We know that owning a dog is a big responsibility and we are fully aware that sometimes you cant always predict the future ! So we are more than happy to board your dog (If we have space) at the spur of the moment, day boarding, short stays or long stays.

Get in there quick...

Our busiest times of year tend to be school holidays, bank holidays and most weekends! So to avoid disappointment, if you can book your dogs stay well in advance that would ensure you have peace of mind.

It's never too much trouble...

We all know that dogs have different personalities and are more than happy to look after any with behavioural / aggression issues as well as security and working dogs . We are experienced to handle all situations in a professional manner so you needn’t worry about your pet whilst away.

Taxi please...

As we are in a rural location we understand that its not always convenient to get to us, so we do provide a taxi service at a competitive rate if you need us to.

Time is important

Pond Farm is open 7 days a week and open to the public 9:00am - 4:30pm weekdays and 9:00am - 3pm weekends.

We are closed on Bank / Public holidays , though someone is on site 24/7 and the dogs are checked regularly to make sure they are all ok.

We have CCTV in operation in various locations and a secure gate system to ensure all dogs are kept safe

Doing our bit...

Unfortunately we know there is a crisis in the UK with dogs being abandoned and mistreated . We work on behalf of the local authority to look after any stray dogs .

Many years ago we had permission to re-home dogs to the general public but now by law all unclaimed dogs must go to a Registered rescue centre were they can get the proper care and attention they need to find their forever home.

All the rescue centres we send dogs to have a non-destroy policy so we know all the dogs will have a happy ending.
